I’ve often heard stories of animals moving into towns and cities; mostly when looking for food.

I thought that only happened in more rural areas. Not DOWNTOWN Toronto?!?

On the walk home we met 3D Raccoon! Jenna was able to convince me that his powers only allowed him to see the third dimension, and he wasn’t using X-Ray vision to scan my naked body…….I feel dirty just saying that.

He turned out to be a surprisingly friendly raccoon who took us to Evergreen Forest where we met his friends Ralph and Melissa. When I woke up and the memory returned it turned out I apparently stopped for a leak on the ‘Hinton Animation Studios‘ window. Infront to the TV show ‘The Raccoons’ display.

My bad.

After a big bal game in the city…it’s only right to have a big night on the town!

After checking out the ‘Loose Moose‘, we decided to hit ‘The Unicorn

Here’s just a bunch of shots we nabbed during the Jays game. There’s little descriptors for the pictures when you click for a larger view.

Finally, we made it to Toronto and just in time for the game! After a quick bit to eat and a beer we only had to cross the road to get to the Rogers Center.

For some reason Tony’s attitude seemed to perk up a bit after a drink. Even though it was 35degree’s we held out that the home team would the win.

I have no idea what the temperature was today, but I can tell you it was damn hot.

We decided to stop at a lookoff just a bit before Sudbury. It was a very beautiful view and was well deservant of a few photos.

Tony (being in a suit of Iron) found it was too hot to be getting out of the car and wandering around in the sun so he just sat in the car and watched us play.

After driving for a full 24hours the first day, we decided to sleep a bit late and drive at a little bit of a slow pace the second day.

It wasn’t such a bad idea to plan for a slower day, there was a ton of road construction and a lot of very cool things to see on the way from Thunder Bay, Ont., to Toronto.

One of the funniest things we saw was ‘The Beaver Motel’ for sure. Everybody knows about the stigma and the jokes that go along with a motel and the shennanigns that are reported to go on there, and I thought this sign was hilarious. The hilari-tude was further hilari-fied when we spotted the statue in their garden.

I knew that Tony wasn’t really feeling involved in the trip…..I did most of the driving. So I got what turned out to be a fun idea.

I thought, since we’re in the prarries and nothing could really happen, I’d let Tony take a turn at the wheel.

I thought as long as I kept at the ready we’d be fine. It turned out to be a lot of fun. We sang along to some classic Canadian rock, BTO, Trooper, Burton Cummings, and Toronto. Good times

An ironless saladAfter a LONG day of driving we finally made it to Kenora, Ont. and stopped for a bite at a place called Casey’s. It was pretty good.

However I’m starting to think nothing will ever please the “great” Tony Stark. The croutons are too cruchy, the juice isn’t juicy enough, the salad’s not a decent source of my daily recommended dosage of iron and other valuable minerals.

I know it sounds like we’re not seeing eye-to-eye on anything on this trip. However we can all agree that Dryden smells.

If you ever happen to go to Dryden take note of the high school 3 blocks away from the paper mill (heavy industrial plant). That combined with the smellsmust makes for some interesting inbreeding.

When driving across the lamer provinces with Iron Man, you’re going to hear about it.

I find he’s very difficult to keep entertained….not that it’s MY job.

So we stopped at a big building for a little break and to stretch our legs.

After looking at the building for mere seconds Tony just turned to me (with a tear in his eye) and said “Fucking awesome.”

Obviously this turned into a fight and Tony decided he was better off on his own. I know that on any road trip you can predicted what I call the ‘car fight’ but this was a bad one.

I didn’t laugh at him at the time, but eventually he gave up being stubborn when no other cars showed up.

Real classy TonyWhen the plane landed just around 11:20am last night, we just picked up our luggage, met up with Sheena and hit the road.

Traveling from Calgary, AB to our goal of Thunder Bay, Ont. is going to be a long one.

We started out making great time, but then Iron Man (who drank too many beers on the plane) began to whine about his Iron-Bladder……or lack thereof.

After a quick break on the side of the highway (how Canadian) which I captured to share with his family, we were on the road again.
